Here is my wedding stationary set with an image from Burano, Italy. Burano is one of the little islands just a short boat ride from Venice and is well known, since the 16th century, for its lace-making. The brightly-coloured fishermen's houses are also well known and it is said that they are coloured because of the fishermen's desire to identify their own houses from the lagoon on their return home. I took this photo of the fishermen's houses from the canal. I love the multi colours of them.
