Snorkeling in Moorea, Tahiti
A wonderful day snorkeling in the crystal turquoise waters of Moorea. While I was snorkeling, all the black triggerfish started swimming away in large groups. I was wondering what was happening. Then a school of the large Bluefin trevally (jackfish) I believe suddenly appeared swimming very fast and chasing something. It looked like a feeding frenzy a couple of times near the coral rocks. Once the Bluefin took off I swam over to where they were and a brown spotted moray eel came swimming out of the coral! Pretty amazing to witness it all while snorkeling in shallow waters. There are also some stingrays that hang around the swimming area looking for food handouts. Enjoy!
